On April 7, the consortium jointly established by China Haisum Beijing Branch and CHINA NATIONAL MACHINERY IMP. & EXP. CORP signed the EPC contract on 330,000 t/a printing-and-writing paper project funded by ITTIHAD International Investment LLC. The contract amounts to US$ 255.5 million, and the total construction period is 22 months. The investor, i.e. ITTIHAD International Investment Co., Ltd., is a UAE-based private cross-industry large business. The project principally comprises an 850 t/d commercial pulp beating line, a 330,000 t/a printing-and-writing paper (including cabinet) production line, as well as two supporting 50t gas-fired boilers, sewage treatment plant and other auxiliary facilities. China Haisum Beijing Branch, as the general contractor, is principally responsible for the design, procurement, construction, startup guidance and quality assurance management etc. for the project.
